《“有容即为器”—张琪创作自述》 武汉科技大学中南分校艺术学院

做陶对于许多人来说是件很有吸引力的事情，陶瓷材料具有极强的可塑性和丰富的表现力，这对于艺术表现是最理想的材料之一。在陶艺创作的体验中，我感受到粘土的神奇，从土的塑造、水的调合、釉的润色、火的锻炼中创造出一件件作品，是一种令人欣慰、愉悦同时又繁琐的事情。

器皿这样一种既有实用功能又有审美功能的一种造型是世界上最古老陶器的主要体现，它是在人类劳动生产和生活中诞生出来的一种造型手段，制作要求具有特殊的技术性。我的作品主要是以器皿为传达媒介，体现我对世界和事物的感受、认知。

生活是丰富的、广泛的，我的关注也是多方面的。一直以来，我对于政治、宗教、艺术、历史等很多方面都比较关注，但是却很少直接的去表现相关的主题，而是在我的作品中更多的体现我对这些方面即兴的感受，一种随意、自然、和谐的共生关系；一种超越文字语言的意识形态展现，也可以理解为一种超越现实与物质的抽象观念。我希望通过一种简洁、单纯的方式体现我的直观感受，而器皿正好成为我创作的最佳选择。在简洁的造型和复杂的构成元素不断交错中，创作出的作品往往具有很大的偶然性，造型是严谨的技术过程，想象与表现是自由的艺术过程，我一直努力在我的作品中体现这两方面的协调统一。

对于一个非陶瓷主要产区的艺术家来说，熟练的掌握陶瓷器皿造型技术，烧制技术是具有很大挑战的事情，到目前为止还有很多技术因素等待我在艺术创作中的不断学习、探索。

在我的创作表现过程中，一切因素都是有可能的。

    Doing pottery for many is a very attractive thing, ceramic material has a strong and rich plasticity of expression, which artistic expression is one of the best materials. Experience in the ceramic art, I feel the magic of clay, the shape from the soil, water blending, glaze polished, tempered in the fire to create a piece, is a gratifying, enjoyable at the same time, red tape thing.
    Containers of such a function of both practical and aesthetic features of a model is the world's oldest pottery is mainly reflected, it is human labor in the production and life is born out of a modeling tool, the production of special technical requirements. I work mainly in the media to convey containers to reflect the world and the things I have feelings, cognition.
    Life is rich, broad, my concern is multi-faceted. All along, I have political, religious, art, history, and many other areas of concern, but little direct relevance to the theme of the performance, but in my work I am more a reflection of the feelings of improvisation in these areas , a random, natural and harmonious symbiotic relationship; a language beyond the ideology of the text display, it can be understood as a reality beyond the abstract concepts and material. I hope that through a simple, purely intuitive ways, I feel, and the vessel is to become the best choice for my creativity. In simple and complex shapes the composition of elements constantly staggered, often works to create a great chance, modeling is a rigorous technical process, imagination and artistic freedom of expression is the process, I have been working in my work to reflect this the harmonization of both.
    For a non-ceramic artists in the main producing areas, the skilled hands Modeling pottery, firing technology is a matter of great challenges, there are many technical factors so far waiting for me in the artistic creation of continuous learning, and explore .
    In the performance of my creative process, all factors are possible.
